Dr. Korrie Lalim and friends recently hosted a Grand Opening party for the local Optometrist’s new business, Optikk 30A. Located in Redfish Village (2050 West County Highway 30A), Optikk 30A is South Walton’s new premier optical boutique, featuring designer eyewear and lens technology, as well as comprehensive eye care for the entire family.
The launch event was packed with locals and featured live music by Geoff McBride, as well as giveaways, delicious food by Debbie Hannan Catering, wine and 30A beer.
Dr. Lalim grew up in a small farming community in North Dakota. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of North Dakota and graduated with a Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in 2001. She broadened her experience with external clinical rotations at the Manchester Veterans Administration Hospital in Manchester, the Wolfe Eye Clinic in Cedar Rapids, and the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago.
She moved to the Emerald Coast in 2006 after falling in love with the beaches and the local lifestyle. Dr. Lalim says she is thrilled to open her own practice to serve the South Walton community.
