Melody Bogle won Best in Show at the 2015 'Top of the Class' exhibition.

The Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County calls all visual artists to apply now through July 8 for the A+ Art Series juried show, ‘Top of the Class’, which will take place August 19 through November 9, at the Bayou Arts Center.

The annual exhibition is part of the committee’s mission to showcase the work of the member artists and enhance the public spaces of Walton County.

Over fifty pieces will be selected by jury for exhibition, and one artist’s work will be awarded a $500 Best In Show prize.

Artists who are current Alliance members may submit up to two entries. There is a non-refundable fee of $20 per application, and a separate application must be completed for each entry.

Applications must be received no later than July 8. If not yet a member, artists may join online.

The exhibition will open Friday, August 19, with a reception from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., and will run through November 9.
