Children’s Advocacy Center Seeks Volunteers for New Walton Center

The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center will soon have two child-friendly centers, one in Niceville and a new one in DeFuniak Springs. The nonprofit organization’s mission is to prevent child abuse and neglect and protect children, restoring their lives and futures.

The organization is always in need of volunteers in various capacities.

Volunteers can serve at either of the centers, or at any of the fundraising events put on by the Advocacy Center throughout the year.

Pat Futch, a volunteer with the Advocacy Center for six years, heads up the Adopt-A-Family holiday program every year and volunteers in various capacities.

“It has been so rewarding and fulfilling to feel like I’m doing something to make a difference in the lives of the kids we help,” said Futch.
